After successful UAE and Hungary-Serbia rail projects, Aigre won a bid in January 2023 for Malaysia's East Coast Rail Link (ECRL), tasked with delivering a turnkey welding solution.
The ECRL, a key project in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, is China and Malaysia's largest economic cooperation venture. It spans 665 km and will significantly boost Malaysia's socio-economic development.
Kong Qi, CCC's ECRL GM, emphasized the project's strategic importance and welding quality, hoping for close cooperation with Aigre.
Lu Qibing, Aigre's GM, thanked CCC for their trust and assured high-quality project execution. Aigre, a leading rail welding enterprise, has served Belt and Road projects worldwide.
Considering Malaysia's climates, Aigre optimized equipment to ensure welding quality and efficiency. In four months, Aigre manufactured and shipped a full range of proprietary welding equipment to the ECRL site.
Upon completion, the ECRL, supported by Aigre's technologies, will traverse tropical rainforests, enhancing the Belt and Road landscape.
