In 2022, at least 15 railway lines are expected to open for operation. Here are brief introductions to some key railway projects:
01 Changyi-Changsha High-Speed Railway
Connecting Changde, Yiyang, and Changsha, it is an important part of the Chongqing-Xiamen High-Speed Railway. The Changsha-Yiyang section is planned to open in June, and the Yiyang-Changde section is scheduled to open before the end of the year.
02 Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-Speed Railway (Hangzhou West-Tonglu East Section)
Connecting Hangzhou and Wenzhou, it supports Zhejiang's "1-hour transportation circle." Scheduled to open in July.
03 Xingquan Railway
Connecting Xingguo in Jiangxi and Quanzhou in Fujian, it serves revolutionary areas. The Xingguo-Qingliu section is already open, and the Qingliu-Quanzhou section is planned to officially open by the end of June.
04 Jingtang Intercity Railway
Connecting Beijing and Tangshan, it serves the Bohai Rim and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regions. Scheduled to open in September, but may be delayed until the end of the year.
05 Jingbin Intercity Railway
The second high-speed railway connecting Beijing and Tianjin. Scheduled to open in September.
06 Darui Railway
The Dali-Ruili railway is the western line of the Pan-Asia Railway in China's international railway network. The Dali-Baoshan section is planned to open in the first half of the year.
07 Lixiang Railway
The railway from Lijiang to Shangri-La is known as the "Most Beautiful Railway." Scheduled to open before the end of the year.
08 Mimeng High-Speed Railway
An important international railway corridor connecting Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan. Scheduled to open before the end of the year.
09 Jiahe Railway
Located in the northeastern part of Heilongjiang Province, it is one of China's earliest-built railways. Scheduled to open before the end of the year.
10 Zhengwan High-Speed Railway
Involving Henan, Hubei, and Chongqing, it is an important part of China's high-speed railway network. Expected to open fully before June.
